how to play
  1. each turn, roll five dice.
  2. scratch one die. the first three unique faces you scratch become your scratch dice. after that, you must scratch one of those three if any of them were rolled.
  3. score the other four in two pairs. each pair puts a mark in the row of its total, from 2 to 12.
  4. free ride: if none of your three scratch dice were rolled, scratch any die without marking a scratch row.
  5. the game ends when one scratch row reaches eight marks.

1–4 marks lose the row value for each mark
5 marks break even
6–10 marks gain the row value for each mark past five
